Yes, the advanced room greeter is also included in Cooltext Extreme, with these special features:
- Different greeting messages for different people if their nick are defined in a certain group
- You can customize the font size, font decoration, and color of any word in the greeting message
- You can set the greeter to pick a random greeting in the list to use each time
- You can send greetings as whisper, only the greeted person can see it
- You can set the greeter to randomly alter the preset colors to have countless colors combination
- You can force the greeter to use whichever options that the fader has
- You can send welcome-back messages to people who leave and return within a preset period of time, default is 1 hour.
- You can include predefined variables in the greeting: $n = nick of the greeter person, $r = room's name, $u = number of users in room, $d = today's date, $t = current time
- The greeter uses an independent connector, so you can start the greeter in one room, and start the paster or mic locker in other rooms. Yes, simultaneuosly!
The 3rd component is the advanced auto paster, which pastes a message to the room in every interval of time.
- All messages are categorized, and you can select which categories will be pasted
- You can customize the font size, decoration, as well as color of any word of each message
- You can have the messages pasted in random order
- You can force the messages to use the fader's formats
- You can include variables in the message: $r = room's name, $d = date, $t = time, $u = number of users in room
- And of course you can change the pasting interval
- The paster uses an independent connector, so you can start the paster in one room, and start the greeter or mic locker in other rooms at the same time
The 4th component is the advanced ascii-art scroller. Without this tool, you cannot send such a beautiful ascii-art as below to the room:
- You can add, save, or delete ascii-art (the old version couldn't delete)
- You can customize the color of any part of the ascii-art (see example below)
- Instant preview, what you see on the scroller is exactly what you see in the room or im session
- If you dont want to use the customized colors, you can use fading colors
The 5th component is a brand new automatic mic locker, which checks your mic in an interval of time and lock you
mic again if you lost the mic. This is extremely useful if you serve music in your room 24/7 !
Last but not least, you can save all the data or load the saved data in the MISC. tab:
